Bulk Molding Compound (BMC)

A pre-mixed fiber reinforced composite material in bulk form that cures under heat and pressure to an infusible solid state consisting of a thermosetting resin, glass fiber resins and filler. The curing process forms a cross-linked bond between the molecules. Custom formulations allow the product to be designed specifically to meet the part requirements. BMC can be used in transfer, compression and injection molding and is well suited to a wide variety of applications requiring precision in detail and dimensions.
