Bulk Molding Compound (BMC) – A molding compound consisting of thermosetting plastic resins mixed with stranded reinforcement, fillers, and other additives. Bulk molding compound can be used for compression or injection molding.	Sheet Molding Compound (SMC) - Thermosetting molding compound in sheet form, reinforced with fiberglass, usually stored in rolls. Sheet molding compound allows for resourceful use of materials because it can be molded into complex shapes with little scrap.
Phenolic - A thermosetting resin consisting of many combinations of phenol or substituted phenols and aldehydes such as formaldehyde, often incorporating filler material producing a wide range of properties.	Melamine/Urea - An amino resin made from urea and formaldehyde. When melamine resin is combined with formaldehyde it produces a very durable thermoset plastic. It is used to make plastic tableware and insulation, among others.
